Community rooted in the Creek
Meet Our Vendors
Our vendors come from all across Connecticut, bringing with them an incredible variety of CT-grown and handmade goods. At the Stony Creek Farmers Market, they don’t just set up shop—they support each other, work as a team, and show up each week to celebrate and share in each other’s success.
From organic farmers and mushroom growers to bakers, woodworkers, and fiber artists, our vendor lineup is as diverse as it is local. While we focus primarily on food-based offerings, we proudly feature locally made crafts that showcase the talents of Connecticut artists.
Take a moment to learn more about the amazing people behind the tables—and be sure to stop by one Sunday to meet them in person and support their work!
Bakery
BROT is the German word for BREAD.
Our breads are inspired by traditional European sourdough cultures and new ideas from bread artisans around the world. We use organic, stone-ground flour and natural sourdough starter for flavorful, healthy, and longer-lasting bread. Hand-crafted and baked to order, our breads provide a glimpse into the next level of bread baking.

Farm
Ked and his wife moved to Bethany around 2020 and got into gardening as a way to sustain themselves and their family. Their love of gardening continued to grow, from a couple of garden beds to a field of plots, a greenhouse, beekeeping, maple tapping, and over 60 chickens. They’ve built all of this by hand and are utilizing resources from neighbors and the surrounding forest.
Their farm is a place of community, shared resources, campouts, and is in a continual state of growth with visions of what’s to come.
We’re excited to welcome Radio Farm this season and share their harvests with our community. Expect fantastic garlic, eggs, honey, maple syrup, and a variety of seasonal vegetables!

Farm
Newgate Farms has been a family owned, fresh market garden for five generations, since 1933 in Windsor, CT. What started as a strictly wholesale and pick-your-own farm has now evolved into a strictly retail, farmers’ market agri-business. Presently, with the help of our five children and five grandchildren we have diversified into small fruits and berries, greenhouse, cut flowers, and value-added bakery. In addition, we have added agricultural lands in Suffield and East Granby, CT.
At Newgate Farms, we strive to bring the highest quality, fresh produce and products to our customers at farmers’ markets, while maintaining a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Even though farming is demanding work, both on body and mind, we love to share our experiences with our customers and look forward to the community experience of the farmers’ markets.

Beets & Blooms Farm strives to provide our community with organically grown vegetables and flowers. We believe that the food we eat and the flowers we bring into our homes should be free from harmful pesticides and synthetic fertilizers, which is why it is so important to us that we use organic and sustainable farming practices. This ensures that we leave the land better than we found it while also benefiting our customers and the health of our community.

Herbals
Samantha is a certified Herbalist from East Haven crafting organic herbal teas and tonics.
Her journey with herbalism began with a deep connection to the natural world and a desire to balance her own wellness. After 5 years of practicing and studying herbs, and experiencing the many benefits, she knew she wanted to share it with the world. Samantha’s main focus is women’s hormone wellness, but she also loves creating custom herbal blends for a variety of needs like stress relief, digestion, sleep, focus, skincare and more. Herbalism is more than just remedies—it’s a holistic approach to wellness that emphasizes using plants and herbs to support the body’s instinctive ability to heal and maintain balance. Her hope is to empower others to get closer to their well-being and embrace natural, mindful practices. Connecting with nature through herbs not only supports our wellness but also deepens our appreciation for the abundance around us.
